Hi! I’m Alec Tufenkjian (he/him), an animator passionate about filmmaking and storyboarding who integrates the vivid qualities of live-action cinema into the realm of animation, establishing enduring connections between my films and audiences. I aspire to craft authentic films that conjure human moments, enabling audiences worldwide to universally empathize, no matter how diverse.

I am a distinguished graduate from California College of the Arts with a BFA in Animation. Throughout my time at CCA, I learned from industry professionals in Animation, Film, and Photography who granted me the capability to implement a wide variety of skills into my senior thesis and first short animated film, "Internal Embers."

I plan on being able to use my skills to develop stories in any stage of film production, from storyboarding to character animation. I want to be able to create authentic stories that represent different cultures, identites, and topics that can connect and resonate with viewers emotionally.
